Ik heb een dubbel gevoel over het spel. Aan de ene kant is het voor een coop een buitengewoon compleet geheel. Je hebt tig scenario's, 3 moeilijkheidsgraden, een verradermodus, een realtime modus, campagnes, speciale one time-only hulpmiddelen, én het is allemaal te combineren. Dat is knap.
Aan de andere kant is het 'gewoon' een dungeon crawler en daar horen miniaturen bij. In dit spel zijn die ver te zoeken: het zijn allemaal speelkaarten. En ten tweede is het centrale dobbelmechanisme heel erg simpel en weinig spannend (1D6 + langzaam aangroeiende modifier vs. getal op kaart). Af en toe een keertje zo dobbelen is een ding, maar echt de hele tijd zo bepalen of je een terrorist of anderszins gestoorde gek omlegt is overvragen. En dat zeg ik met de ervaring van Quantum in mijn achterhoofd, dat ook een 1D6 + modifier-systeem gebruikt.

For example, in the scenario we played the bomb expert has exactly 7 actions worth of bombs to disarm. That's it; that's the whole game for that player. Of course, to FIND the instant-death traps of those bombs requires the intelligence officer to flip one randomly. She's got 7 actions to search through roughly 15-18 cards, at 1 card per action. IE; impossible. And why is the board so big when we don't have remotely enough time to get through even the shortest and most direct path? We can't possible even try to go off and explore the alternate routes.
